Hi there! I am a darling little puppy who is looking for just the right forever family! My mama weighs about sixteen pounds, and my dad weighs about fifteen pounds, so I will always be a nice medium size. My people are raising me with lots of love and attention, and the children spend lots of time playing with me and making sure I am well-socialized. This means that I am a very friendly, adaptable puppy who should easily adjust to my new home and family. I will be coming home up-to-date on shots and dewormer, with my dew-claws removed, and only after a physical exam at the veterinarian. With my sparkling eyes and soft, fluffy fur, I am sure to steal your heart instantly! If you are interested in adding me to your family, please give my people a call for more information. You may come meet me here at my home, or ask about shipping options. I can't wait to come bouncing into your life to fill your days with joy and puppy kisses! Love, Milo

Did you know this about the Mini Poodle breed?

The history of the Poodle spans centuries as well as across various countries, and the breed is one of the smartest in the world.  When you think of a Poodle what comes to mind is the circus performing dog with the fancy haircuts and frilly outfits.  However, they were initially bred to be water retrievers.  They would leap into the water and fetch fowl, arrows, and whatever else a hunter needed to be recovered.  It has been noted that the Poodle originated in Germany, where the name came from the German word “pudel or pudelin” which means a splash in the water.  While in France where the Poodle became popular it was known as a “Caniche.”  “Caniche” came from the French word “chien canard” which means duck dog.  The breed had its hair cut in a specific style to assist them in the job they were meant to do.  They are extremely bright, dignified, and devoted, and make great pets for the family.  Miniature Poodles would not be good with small children, but are great for apartment living as long as they do get the exercise they need, or they can become destructive.  Miniature Poodles are usually 11-15 inches high, and normally weigh 15-17 pounds. Poodles are generally a healthy breed and with routine veterinary visits and loving care they should live a long and happy life.
