Hi, I'm so glad you stopped by to check out Royal Huskies!

My name is Heidi and I've had the privilege of having a mini farm on my parents 1 acre property, located in the heart of peaceful Holmes County. I have chickens, a fish, a spoiled Havanese dog Cody, a sweet Cockapoo dog Bingo, the most magnificent and beautiful Siberian Husky Maya and her daughter Princess Zara!(When my chickens decide to go exploring further then they should the neighbors love watching our little circus of Chickens, Cat and Dogs running around having a party and let me tell you this is no small amount of excitement to say the least)  

A childhood dream of mine was to become a veterinarian but as of right now I think I would prefer moving to a ranch or a big farm where I can have animals of my own that I can take care of and build relationships with them on a daily basis. 

Royal Huskies was something that my sister Shana and I had a dream of doing together with our pet Maya to share the love of a Husky puppy with other families. Although she moved to the city to help with a childrens ministry and isn't here all the time, she and the rest of my family love helping with caring for and having these little furry sweethearts around! 

When we first saw Maya we couldn't help ourselves we knew she was the one! Her sweet and energetic personality with her amazing markings made her the perfect Husky to be a great friend and running buddy to both of us. While growing up she used to try to stay a cuddly little puppy and would come over and try to plop down on my lap, it worked for the first while but she grew out of that pretty fast but that doesn't stop her from trying it every once in a while anyway. 

Taking the time with my Huskies to train them on a regular basis is really important to me so that when I train Maya or Zara the puppies at a young age will start learning and pick up on training really fast with their new families. I've been working with a trainer in class with Princess Zara and plan to get into more advanced classes in the future to be able to better train the little fur buddies before going to their new homes!

You may be wondering how we came up with "Royal Huskies". We started looking into Husky's because of how we loved the classy look and excitement they add to life. Then the research started and it wasn't hard to figure out right from the get go that Siberian Husky's have enough energy and poise the way I'm sure the royal Kings and Queens do to run a kingdom and somehow they learn to handle everything with grace and beauty. Husky's have a way of staying alert and ready but also being a fun loving fur-buddy to have along for the ride in this journey called life.
