Look at me! I am a Mini Schnauzer puppy! My Mom is Debbie and my Dad is Sarge. I was born on February 20th and I will be ready for my forever home on April 16th! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and dewormers. I have been checked by a veterinarian and microchipped.  For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Marty and Catherine Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday.

More about the Mini Schnauzer -

The Miniature Schnauzer is one of the 20 most sought-after breeds in the United States, England, and Germany.  This breed is very adaptable and can live basically anywhere, as well as with all age groups.  The Miniature Schnauzer breed does well with children when they are raised together.  A child’s energy matches the exuberance and playfulness of this breed.  The Miniature Schnauzer was initially bred to hunt rodents on farms as well as guard the land.  They still seem to have that innate tendency to hunt small animals such as gerbils, hamsters, and other small creatures.  Therefore if your child does have a small pet the breed’s hunting tendency will need to be taken into account.  The Miniature Schnauzer originated in Germany and was descended from the Standard Schnauzer and the Affenpinscher.  The name “schnauzer,” comes from the German word, “schnauze” meaning snout or muzzle.  The Miniature Schnauzer has a distinguished appearance with its unique bearded face, bushy eyebrows, and upright, floppy ears.  They are very intelligent, friendly, loyal, and affectionate. They desire to be with their human family, and love nothing more than to follow you everywhere, and then snuggle on the couch with you as a personal lap blanket.  The breed has a coarse double coat which is usually black and white, salt and pepper, all black, and sometimes all white.
